In this ongoing project, animated visuals by artist Hattie Ball react to sound created by Rose Bell, using field recordings and conversations captured with the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability and the Palestine Museum of Natural History
Recordings of ants, bats, frogs, landscapes and people intersect to examine interconnected resistence of native animals.
Sound reactive visuals created using TouchDesigner, peformed live at SAOM event, Avalon Cafe, Bermondsey.

Event Horizon is an ongoing series of improvised sound compositions composed alongside conversations with people discussing irreversible moments of change.

Borrowing from Pauline Oliveros’ practice of Quantum Listening and Theodore Reik’s psychoanalytic text ‘Listening with the Third Ear’, these. works were made working as an art therapist in a palliative care setting.

3 out of 56 ‘Diagrams of Cool’ Exhibited Chelsea, London, 2014. Rose Interviews people asking them to plot pivotal moments in their lives when they have gone up or down in their own understanding of being ‘cool’. Recipient of the Rosalie Schweiker award and featured in Wired Magazine.
